The Government is a production duo made up of Dan Kramer aka Ominous B. Lurkin and Drew Kilgore aka Drew C. DeFewcha. They write and produce all genres of music, and bring with them exceptional production skills, musicality and adaptabilty. Discovered by The Roots, the Government has produced and/or written music for artists as diverse as the Jazzyfatnastees, Dice Raw and Dipset. They have also composed music for a variety of TV ads, promos, show opens, and video games. Recently acclaimed work includes writing and producing Guyz Nite's song, "Die Hard", featured in ads and on the Die Hard 4 DVD. Additionally, they are working with upcoming artists The Kid Daytona,
Harlem's Cash, and others.
